What
is a temperature button?

This is the kit to use
if you simply want a good way to check up on temperature or get its history
using a long cable to your PC. You can also choose to post the temperature
in a small bar, and park
it on your desktop, so you can always see the latest reading conveniently.
You can still use this
kit to launch and read the temperature button when you want to use the
button in non-wired applications, eg. in shipping containers, temporary locations
like heating ducts,
aquariums, pet transportation.

Monitor On/Off States
Of Remote Equipment:
You can monitor on/off states of motors, fans, lamps, hallway lighting, and
other equipment. This is done by sensing the
small temperature differences between on and off states (eg. motor casing,
or bearing). The logger resolution is 0.5 C,
and on/off states can show significant steps in temperature change. Record
on/off states as frequently as 1 minute intervals.
As the button is
tiny, it can fit in tight places.
Also, it's small
size makes it inconspicuous and it can be hidden. EXAMPLES
