Capture to PC Using USB Cable

Confirm that the printer port on your machine/instrument is Parallel LPT (e.g. very common "Centronics" or "IEEE 1284 Centronics Mode")
Ways to confirm:
- Check the cable that normally connects to your printer, see below. The printer should have 36 pin connector with wire bail locks.
- Check the machine/instrument User Guide to see if it states "Parallel", "Centronics", "LPT", or "IEEE1284 Centronics Mode"
- Check for a label on your machine/instrument indicating the port type as "Parallel", "LPT"

The UNIPRINT Adapter is powered by a common USB Cable: USB-B 2.0 to USB-A

SOFTWARE:
     
Use any terminal emulator software, (e.g. Tera Term Version 4.83 Open Source).
 About Tera Term:  
Displays print data in real time on screen
Logs print data to a user named folder/file Data appends to log file Set text and background colors and screen size
Set application to auto start logging whenever application is opened. Set Windows to auto start Tera Term whenever PC is powered up (e.g. after power outage).

Use Windows Device Manager to determine the COM Port # of your UNIPRINT Adapter.
Use the COM Port # in Tera Term Settings
